A Technion graduate student must demonstrate good knowledge of English.<\/p>\r\n

A student who was required to and did not pass the\u00a0Advanced English Proficiency Examination<\/a> during the first semester of their studies, that is, at a level that enables written expression,\u00a0will be required to attend regular studies at the Technion in the appropriate course, and\u00a0pass the examination at the end of the second semester. The status of a student who does not pass the examination on the above-mentioned date will become \u201cUnsatisfactory\u201d and the student will have the opportunity to repeat the exam at the term of the\u00a0next examination. Should the student fail again, his studies will be discontinued.<\/p>\r\n

Upon the student\u2019s admission, the Dean may extend the terms set for fulfilling these\u00a0requirements.<\/p>\r\n

Starting the Winter 2022-23 semester, graduate students are entitled to 2 credits upon completing the English requirement.<\/p>\r\n

3280014 \u2013 Enrichment in English for Graduate Students<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The course aims to develop advanced receptive and productive skills essential for English academic communication. Reading and analyzing academic texts, enriching vocabulary and practicing grammatical structures are complemented by watching and discussing videos. Following the learning phase of each of 6-course modules, the students will express their opinion, develop and compare arguments, making use of the acquired skills.<\/p>\r\n

3280013 \u2013 Advanced English for Graduate Students<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

English Academic Writing for Master's Degree \u2013 3280049<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Master\u2019s students on a thesis track may take the \u201cAcademic writing in English for Master\u2019s students\u201d course. Registration for this course is through an online form, which requires the supervisor\u2019s approval and the student\u2019s commitment to in-class attendance.<\/p>\r\n
