It is based on Academic writing guidelines, including the CEFR and ECFR standards. This includes advanced academic writing competencies to produce clear, well-structured, and complex academic texts, using appropriate jargon. It covers abstract writing, IMRAD (introduction, methods, results, discussion) structure of academic articles, effective use of AI tools, ethical considerations, and dissemination strategies, including presentations and science communication. Moreover, the course teaches students to use both rhetorical strategies used in scientific writing and employ reverse engineering practices to understand the layout and goals of various academic genres.
