This course concentrates on strengthening the 4 skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to help prepare for work in industry/academia. This is done through lectures and interactive modules that encourage pair/group work and active use of English.
By the end of the course, the students will have the ability to carry out professional presentations, with stronger oral skills. They will have solid professional writing skills: write professional emails and express their professional opinion.
The course will focus on students’ ability to critically read and comprehend professional English. In addition, the course will concentrate on expanding academic vocabulary as well as learning various practical grammatical structures.
